PLEASE NOTE: If you need an item quick, don't order from us; amazon is your best bet. We do appreciate you ordering from us directly (the author and the publisher make more from the sale this way), but due to the increased number of orders and covid-related shipping changes, our shipping takes considerably longer than it used to. Please be patient, as it can take 2 to 3 weeks to process and ship orders. Please email us about an order only if it's absolutely necessary. We REALLY appreciate your patience for this, and appreciate your business! THANK YOU!

Peggy Adler's Free Event at Guilford, CT, Tomorrow/Sunday -- September 24th

Tomorrow/Sunday, September 24th at 5:00pm, Peggy Adler will be giving a talk about the history of Clinton, Connecticut -- including the Birth of Yale and a glimpse at some of the town’s most prominent residents, from colonial days to the present. One, who will be profiled in particular, is Emil Pallenberg, who along with his acrobatic bears, not only lived in Clinton, but headlined with Ringling owned circuses for more than twenty years. Come and you will see a video of him with Snookums, his last “Wonder Bear”. Then, for a change of pace, I’ll involve you in a recreational math game that’s right out of one of my puzzle books. All this will take place at Breakwater Books, 81 Whitfield Street in Guilford, CT (across from the Guilford Town Green)
