Author Talk & Book Signing October 29th:
On Tuesday, October 29th, I’ll be giving a talk about Emil Pallenberg and his Wonder Bears, with a spotlight on Mischka, who portrayed Carmichael in a 1940 movie with Jack Benny. The Pallenbergs and their acrobatic bicycle riding, roller skating circus bears lived on North High Street, not far from my home in Clinton, Connecticut. Their granddaughter, Dibirma Jean Burnham, my indispensible collaborator on Pallenberg Wonder Bears – From the Beginning (published by BearManor Media in 2022) will be on hand on the 29th to answer your questions about her remarkable grandparents. Although my talk is part of Clinton’s Senior Connection program, it is open to anyone 55 and older, regardless of where they live.
