PLEASE NOTE: If you need an item quick, don't order from us; amazon is your best bet. We do appreciate you ordering from us directly (the author and the publisher make more from the sale this way), but due to the increased number of orders and covid-related shipping changes, our shipping takes considerably longer than it used to. Please be patient, as it can take 2 to 3 weeks to process and ship orders. Please email us about an order only if it's absolutely necessary. We REALLY appreciate your patience for this, and appreciate your business! THANK YOU!

This is a further adventure of Inspector Jack Hedge
as he grapples with the problem of his identity until
he realises he does not need one. Meanwhile he
has been sent abroad (there’s a lot of abroad!)
supposedly on a case but he suspects more likely
to get rid of him in the most expedient way. There
are two sides to every question, and this pertains to
the silent war between various elements of the
Secret Service in England.

The original Inspector Hedge book I wrote over fifty
years ago in eight days. It has only recently been
published under the title of INVITATION TO A
PLAGUE. It involves a top secret Govt Germ
Warfare experiment that went disastrously wrong
with the latent danger of the virus, Code Name
Green Swan, spreading into the community, indeed
across the world. Inspector Hedge was sent into a
clinic disguised as a patient to investigate but any
conclusions he may have reached have been
suppressed by some and encouraged by others in
the silent war between the services. Who is on
which side? We still don’t know...

Which brings us to the sequel I have only recently
penned. Good luck with that and please, as you
read risk the disintegration of your own identity. You
do not really need it.

Laughter is freedom...
